I have gardened at Longears, my idyllic suburban patch since 1987. My original garden plans did not include rodents of any kind, but I find, year after year, my gardening contributes greatly to the well-being of RABBITS! I am sweet-tempered under normal circumstances. However, rabbits in the garden are NOT normal circumstances! I have chronicled my adventures in one of the sets on my Flickr site.

What about she who chases three hares? My gosh, you do have the bunnies. Hope you're not going to get snow or ice tonight. Down here in northeast OKC, we may just barely squeak by without the ice, but cold, almost freezing rain. Glad to hear you are so happy in retirement. We're about to do that too! Montana bound!
ReplyDeleteSo have you retired from chasing rabbits? It must be difficult when your sidekick is no longer with you.

DeleteYou can see that I am still learning my way around the blog world.....did not see your comment until today ! Of course I cannot possibly retire from chasing rabbits. They will certainly never give up, but I admit I've been a bit remiss this summer. Last year's extreme heat and drought decimated the population, so I've taken it a bit easy.
I think you may have come a cropper (though I've no idea whar that is). Still I do feel you should give the buns a break. Maybe if you put outcarrots regularly they would not touch the other stuff?
